Jewellerydesign Marie-Benedicte - Les jolies demoiselles - model 5 As goldsmith and jewellery designer I design and create my own jewellery in my workshopin Ghent. Every single piece is handmade and unique.

My jewellery collections are designed for timeless elegance and have a ‘romantic chique’ signature.

I get inspired by classic and contemporary art, music, the human body and nature: flowers, leaves, butterflies, birds… I prefer working with gold combined with colored gemstones, pearls and diamonds. The physical form of exceptional stones can be the start of a sketch, that comes to live at the workbench. I constantly look for new stones to work with such as coral, topaz, lemon quartz, white and black diamonds, smoke quartz, quartz agate, cameos, tourmaline, morganite, rutile quartz, rock crystal, peridot, garnet, citrine, amethyst, lapis lazuli, rose quartz, opal, chalcedony, golden beryl, aquamarine, moonstone, sapphire, ruby & emerald.

In 2012 my iconic jewellery with roses was born, and to celebrate the tenth birthday of this collection, I created a limited edition collection 10 year ‘Queen of roses’ .
And as always, from every jewel, there’s only one unique, handcrafted piece.
